I remember my wedding day fondly, but ultimately there are some things I’d have done differently and one (and maybe only) of those is not having a designated wedding day wing woman a.k.a. Day-of-Coordinator. My mom ended up steaming my dress, my entire wedding party set up decor, my sister did my hair and make up, and I inadvertently ended up going bridezilla on a member of the next wedding party because I thought their decor would show in my family portraits (cringe).
What I wish I remembered instead: being pampered with my wedding party and family, laughing with my loved ones while we took photos, and knowing I had a coordinator in my corner to make sure boutonnieres had been pinned, every last decor piece placed, vendor questions answered, and all the party members present for fun! Time has flown by! It’s time to celebrate, relax and let us get to work! Here at The MaeWood Collective, we truly believe in providing an experience where you feel fully supported and that your love story is authentically celebrated. To achieve this, we commit to at least ten continuous hours of coordination coverage on your wedding day. As funny as it sounds, the less you see our lead coordinator on your wedding day, the better! (She’ll be busy working of course!) Unless it’s a key moment or time to dance - we don’t stop until your grand exit is complete!

Well that flew by! It’s time to celebrate, relax and let us get to work! Here at The MaeWood Collective, we truly believe in providing an experience where you feel fully supported and that your full love story is authentically expressed. As a team, we commit to shooting and or coordinating for at least eight continuous hours on your wedding day. Although you may not believe us now, you won't remember many parts of your wedding day, it might be a complete blur, so it is our job to be your eyes and ears, direct what is happening, and capture every moment from all perspectives. Your photographs & video from the day will tell your complete story as we watched it unfold.

Your wedding photography package includes an 8x8 linen wedding album with 10 spreads to showcase snippets of your wedding day! The one place our clients choose to spend extra money is on their album! With an upgrade, we are able to tell your entire wedding day story as we watched it unfold. Regardless which album size you choose, you will be able to review the digital album two times before ordering and then it will be delivered directly to your home after being handmade.

Well, almost unlimited! Our number one priority is to be there for you during crunch time. We want to make any bumps in the road feel lighter and make your smiles and giggles much brighter! But seriously, texts and emails with appropriate allowance for receipt and response time are always welcome!
Within one month of your wedding we recommend doing a complete walkthrough with your Day-of Coordinator and the venue coordinator to make sure everything is in place for your wedding day!
We are here to facilitate and organize your one hour rehearsal, ceremony and reception so that everything goes off without a hitch!

Can I just get digitals and no album?
We know we live in a digital world, but your boudoir photographs are art. We honestly see them as something totally different than a beautiful portrait. They require an experience that can only be provided by fine art prints and albums, keepsakes for you and/or your partner. With your album or a la carte orders, you will also receive your corresponding digital images on a crystal usb! The plus side is, you get all of your digital images on a crystal USB, in addition to your album!
Can we pick our own wedding video music?
One of Michael's specialties is choosing music for your video! It allows for his creativity to flow and the opportunity to match music to your wedding day rather than try to make your video fit into a particular song that we don't have the license to! If you have a special request, we will certainly make it happen for you, but as a general practice, we provide music with a license that embodies the emotions you feel on your own wedding day!
Do you shoot engagement sessions on the weekends?
We typically only shoot portrait sessions on weekdays so we can dedicate our time and energy to our couples on their wedding days! We are happy to make weekend accommodations, if we are available.
Do we really need photography and videography?
We believe whole-heartedly the answer is yes. Photos and videos play two very different roles in capturing your wedding day. As photographers, we are your second set of eyes, capturing everything as quickly and efficiently as possible. Growing your gallery with your friends, family, love, and portraits. It allows you remember all the special moments and witness ones you may not have seen with your own two eyes. A video however, is a curated live experience that allows you to relive the emotion, hear the words, and just about feel the butterflies floating around in your stomach!
Do you offer any payment options?
After your retainer fee is paid, we break up the remaining investment into monthly payments until your session!
If we have all three services, will we receive one contact person and contract?
The best part about the MaeWood Collective is that we work together to create an amazing experience outlined on ONE CONTRACT. ONE TIMELINE. ONE PLACE!
When it comes down to the communicating, you will have contact with each expert on our team individually! We are here to enhance every experience on your wedding day. But to keep everything simple, you will have one portal where all of you communication with our team can be kept in one place!
Will I own the images I get in my gallery?
MaeWood will own the rights to the images so that we can use them for advertising, marketing, and our website, unless you put in a special request! You will receive a print release that allows you to print your images anywhere you'd like. You also have the easy option of ordering prints and albums directly from your gallery link.
